VOI Arenella Resort

Acceptable price, acceptable conditions Pros: The nature around, both beaches are beautiful and you can walk the entire distance between them (the entire circuit has 1.6km and I recommand to see the sunrise). The complex is nice itself, it is enough space for anybody. I recomand the end of the season (end of september), there are not so many people, but the temperatures of the air and water are very pleasant. Food: morning croissants are excellent, the evening red wine is ok. Cons: We had breakfast and dinner and they lacked at the variety of the food (only one restaurant open at the end of september). For example, in the morning no vegetables options. The coffee was not the same in each day and it was rapidely finished without replacing... (valid also for juices or bread or eggs etc.). But, overall, the food was good (not something to remember). No activity for children in october. The rooms was medium clean, for example, on the walls or windows there were still the insects crushed during the last weeks/months...

Nice stay, medical services need improvement Pros: The rooms and meals were really nice. The beach and nature around the resort are very pretty. The facilities are very good too, we used the gym and the bars around. Cons: The biggest issue for us was a gentleman passing away on the dancefloor one evening. He had a heart attack and there was no trained staff to help out, only 3 doctors who were guests at the hotel. The AED took 20 minutes to arrive and the ambulance 40 minutes. At that point the gentleman had already passed away. This was a horrible experience for the family and even for the guests and left a bad taste.

Price and value wasn’t in balance Pros: It was really nice and clean, close to the beach which you can reach by a small train. Cons: The breakfast was really poor, without any vegetables. It wasn’t various at all. We could only choose croissant, marmelade, nutella, 2 kind of cold cut, kind of bread.

It was a decent place for our first trip to Italy, although we probably will not be back to this resort particularly. We Pros: It’s nice that you have security of a resort if you are uncomfortable staying in other countries. I felt very safe while I was there. Cons: The food served here is a disgrace to Italian cuisine. Everything else is fine. The all inclusive drinks were a definite plus

Mixed feelings Pros: Resort was beautiful and nice facilities Lovely clean pools Food was excellent, especially the evening meals Cons: Room was a bit basic But we had checked regarding EV charging and the information we were giving was incorrect. Regarding fees and times, which was an added stress on our trip & we had already previously emailed in order to confirm all of the EV charging details prior to the trip. Staff tried to accommodate around these issues, but still wasn't resolved to our full expectations. Had we been informed about these restrictions it wouldn't have been our first choice of hotel, as we came for the convenience of this charger. Staff not always knowing location of certain areas of hotel. As I bought this as a birthday present for my boyfriend I was a bit disappointed overall
